EDUCATION AND AFFILIATIONS:

Anne's Atlanta-based pro-bono work has focused on bringing the excitement
of science and technology to middle and high school students and educators.

She has led publicity for the Georgia Industrial Fellowship for Teachers
Teachers (GIFT), a Georgia Institute of Technology program connecting
science, computer science and math teachers to summer work
experiences with Georgia's leading companies and research
organizations.

In 2003, she built a publicity team to support the 2003 Peachtree Regional
FIRST Robotics Competition, a robot-building competition established by
renowned inventor Dean Kamen that today includes participation from some
800 high schools. Anne helped FIRST garner coverage throughout the state of
Georgia, including coverage in several metro Atlanta and Savannah newspapers
as well as USA Today.

Anne has a graduate certification in Communications Management from Rutgers
State University in New Jersey, and a B.S. in Journalism from Ohio University's
E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in Athens, Ohio.

Her first job after college was as a reporter in Manama, Bahrain. She covered the
rebuilding of Kuwait, the business community and human interest stories involving
American servicemen, local Bahrainis and expatriates.

Anne is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Atlanta
Press Club.
