Tradeshow Media Relations
CTIA Wireless 2002, the industry's premier wireless tradeshow,
came to Orlando March 18-20, 2002. In her PR consulting role
for EMS Wireless, the nation's dominant cellular and PCS antenna
manufacturer, Anne crafted four news releases for the show
showcasing EMS's voice-and-data integration capabilities and
indoor wireless products. She also scheduled press briefings
with key journalists and analysts, including Wireless Week,
Wireless Review, Telephony, Wireless Future, FierceWireless,
and Frost & Sullivan and developed a CTIA press room for
journalists to access that included booth information, news
releases, fact sheets and executive bios.
FETC 2000, held in Orlando, Fla., is the premier education-technology
tradeshow. FundingFactory.com, the education industrys
leading destination for school fundraising, timed its launch
to coincide with FETC. Anne successfully attracted press interest
in the new company at the show, despite strong competition
from other start-ups for coverage. FundingFactory.com met
with eight journalists, including representatives with T.H.E.
Journal, Technology & Learning and Curriculum Administrator
magazines. She also arranged interviews with Childrens
Software Review, Electronic School magazine, eSchool News
and The Heller Reports Internet Strategies for Education
Markets.
Her work in support of FundingFactory.com led to referrals
for new business and her serving as a spokeswoman to other
education-technology companies.
